Future Educators of America (FEA) is a student organization dedicated to promoting education as a career choice. Member activities include community service, fundraisers, teacher shadow day, teacher appreciation luncheon and more. FEA goes on field trips to feeder pattern schools and local universities and to the annual state conference. Membership is open to all students interested in the profession of teaching and who have a 2.5 GPA. This year, FEA Honor Society was organized for the first time and eligibility requirements include a 3.0 GPA and specific community service hours. All FEA members will have a symbol next to their name in the BHS graduation program and those in the honor society will have the privilege of wearing an FEA cord.
