The Children's Trust, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and Miami-Dade County Health Department have partnered to establish Health Connect in Our Schools. We have a team, comprised of a nurse practitioner, a social worker and health aides to meet children's immediate school health needs such as first aid, assessment and screening such as vision and nutrition, and mental and behavioral health services. We also provide primary health services for uninsured students with no other options of access to health care.
